Kickstarter

We have finished the actual recording of the new material and we're very excited about the new songs and the way everything is sounding. The recording process was partly funded though our previous kickstarter campaign, "Buy a round in Ireland". Because we had both a successful tour and a more-than-sufficient fundraising campaign last Summer, we were able to use some of that money to pay for studio time, musicians, mixing and mastering.

But we still need roughly $2500 to get the art work finished, the manufacturing of the CDs, and some basic promotional materials together.

If we raise more than our goal, we can afford to do things like hire a publicist, pay for tour support, and send CDs and press material to radio stations and print media.

This campaign is basically designed to sell the CD in advance to help pay for its final bills. We've added a few products which will not be available anywhere else, like the vinyl single and the private CD release show. We really need for this to work. This is all the stuff that a label would have do, so we are kind of using Kickstarter and all of you participants as our label. Thanks!
