Cari amici,abbiamo un problema con Kickstarter e Amazon. Dopo che siamo riusciti con successo a raggiungere la somma per il progetto "Destination food" ci è stato negato il pagamento.La ragione? solo alla fine ci hanno rivelato che nonostante abbiamo codice fiscale, indirizzo e patente Usa non possiamo ricevere i soldi perché non siamo cittadini americani. Kickstarter sta cercando di risolvere il problema con Amazon....MA!

In ogni caso risolveremo la situazione. In alternativa vi chiederemo di donare la stessa cifra con paypal o bonifico bancario.Verificate in ogni caso sulla vs mail che Amazon vi abbia restituito i soldi.ciao!

Pochi minuti fa, a 5 giorni dalla fine della raccolta fondi, abbiamo raggiunto il 100%! Naturalmente tutte le donazioni extra sono comunque ben accette :-)

Eccoci qui, a Cleveland, quasi alla fine della prima settimana di viaggio. 1000 miglia, 3 motel e tanti volti nuovi.

Ed è sulle persone, e sul loro legame con il cibo (e il bere), che ci siamo concentrati in questi giorni. Situazioni diverse, dalla micro birreria in stile tedesco al tavolo spoglio di un hotel, ottima scusa per qualche chiacchiera tra amici di vecchia data. Una finestra sul quotidiano, su gesti intimi o sociali, o magari soltanto abitudinari. Qui.

Intanto procediamo con interviste e sempre più chilometri: a breve la prima parte di Destination Food sarà pronta. Una storia su quello che è l’elemento alla base di tutto, del cibo e quindi del nostro sostentamento: la terra e la sua fertilità. Per scoprire come anche le piccole attività commerciali urbane possono contribuire a tale prosperità.
