We're at 10 & 10 - What's happened and what's next...

Thanks for supporting the project. We're 10 days in and slightly above 10% of goal. I'm still working hard to get the word out.

Recent highlights:

  • Video trimmed down to 2:30, per backer suggestions to make it more concise.
  • Facebook page is now has over 100 likes.
  • Twitter account @podprops is growing and tweets are seeing some retweets.
  • Making strong contacts with local media to line up press over the next few weeks.
  • Appearing on websites like Gadgetsin.com  http://gadgetsin.com/podprop-phone-stand-for-iphone-and-other-smartphones.htm
  • Launched a promotion for after Kickstarter ends that I hope will draw people in now. I've reserved my best quality prototypes to make sure product can be delivered.

In the works:

  • Sending out more samples for product reviews and potential plugs. Like I just mailed one to Woz - not sure if he'll get it but it seems like it's worth a shot.
  • Additional media relations items are in process.
