Kickstarter

Hey y'all!

I'm Justin Lantrip, a small town kid from North Idaho. I have been playing music for about 8 years now and just this year in March released my first studio CD with Roger Smith of Tower of Power producing. We are set to start working on our second release as soon as schedules and funding allow. Roger is on board again and this time we will even have the backing of drums and bass from other amazing studio musicians to really beef up the album. I can't tell you how excited I am to work on this project, I really believe in the songs I have written for it and I believe that after the first project with Roger we really have a good sense of how to get the best out of each other and make the songs live up to their potential. The recording will take place over the remainder of the year and hopefully be ready for pressing by the spring of next year.

The costs of the album will definitely be more than what I am aiming for here in kickstarter but its a good start and no matter what happens I will find a way! Thank you so much in advance. I have been so lucky in my life to have the support I have had and truly feel blessed to be doing what I am doing, even if a bit scared : )

The goal is to take all of the tricks that i have learned from home recording and self production and translate that into the studio and bring in some highly esteemed musicians to add to the mix.

I will need to raise money to pay fellow musicians, and to insure that these recordings are fully produced, and professionally packaged. Fortunately I will have an awesome team! Including:
