The Blatant facts:

My name is Shane Williams. I am a North Texas Producer and Independent Filmmaker. I am writing for and in behalf of my production team.

(Who is Shane Williams? Please check my IMDB résumé below; I directed the 2000 FOX TV Animated Smash Hit “Sleepy Hollow;” and, as a Technical Director, I was one of the 5 founding members at “DNA,” the Production House behind the 2001 Academy Award Nominee & Blockbuster “Jimmy Neutron!”)

(Major Truth Disclaimer coming up!) Here it is folks. To have had made my case in the past, I pitched this documentary's background story, all the reasons and beliefs behind it in 3 hours, usually within a boardroom full of suits. From beautifully designed Production Bibles, Posters, Artwork,  a Soundtrack, Blu-Ray- or Projector Presentations, even to “One Sheeters,” I had it all at my disposal to secure the initial backing. Now however, I have only a few moments left before you, dear KICKSTARTER, will lose interest to continue reading. Here in essence, with no further ado, is my “elevator” version of what you must know:

“In the winter of 2010, my Dallas Documentary Film Crew set out to investigate the wildly reported UFO sightings of 2008 in the small Texas town of Stephenville. Trying to uncover the truth, we were met at every turn by an immeasurable dark secret, leading back to WWII.

Under the cover of night, unwilling to be derailed from discovering evidence, we found a closed down military base, near Stephenville.

Setting aside all logic and comprehension, we discovered the horrific truth, terrifyingly caught on film. A terror of biblical proportion revealed itself onto us naïve Filmmakers fate; what began as an ordinary Documentary, turned in to a real life and death struggle, the world’s first and only “Real” Reality Film. “Stephenville Sightings” is Raw, Riveting!”

Well, within the “Kickstarter” posting instructions, we (that's my production team and myself) were advised to avoid terms, like “Help” and “Funding.” Certainly, there are many good reasons for such a directive. However, since all projects on this rather remarkable website do require 2 things “Help” and “Funding,” we felt that we shouldn’t beat around the bush, but rather address it straight-on for what it really is. So, here we are: Asking you kindly to help fund, and finalize a practically finished Documentary Film with contractually guaranteed Worldwide Distribution in place (See below.)

We have a finished Production in the "can." Done. However, since the Documentary was filmed in real 3D, we do now require a specialized 3D Post-Production Process not yet completed. While Production and Distribution cover roughly about ⅔ of the process’ financing, the remaining ⅓ will back that Process (more below) plus, our contractually bound Marketing and Advertising (also called P&A = “Print and Advertising”) expense to reach the “big screen” release of “Stephenville Sightings.” Hence the reasons why we are only seeking to fund these relatively small, but surely some of our most significant, and concluding parts of our work.

This final phase will also serve a second purpose. It shall disclose the big “why?” this documentary was made. The message of this film must reach the public, but we will not be able to accomplish that goal without your support. And, there are forces in play that want to stop exactly that, because you, the audience, was never meant to see what really happened – or, the why?!

The background info:

"In 2010, I, Shane Williams, received a disturbing video message, luring me into an investigation leading to Stephenville, a small Texas town, 90 miles West of Dallas. Connecting the video footage with events that put Stephenville on a worldwide map with a “Sightings” story that broke in January ‘08 on all the News Networks, I had to go after that story. As an independent Filmmaker, I raised a razor-thin-micro-budget. Luckily on the other hand, we secured a worldwide DVD & Blu-Ray distribution agreement with “FUNimation Entertainment,” (the Texas based, worldwide largest “ANIME” distributor,) allowing us to reach pretty much every retail outlet anywhere.

Now, two-thirds on the way, “Endoxa Films” packed up their gear, not knowing what to expect, but, despite all anticipated challenges, decided to film any discoveries in TRUE Stereoscopic 3D, the most realistic Film Format ever created (not that now mostly post-production BS you’ve been seeing in recent months.") More on that below.

Things went wrong, really wrong within a couple of days. Not provoking any confrontation, but foolishly way over our heads, we quickly realized that the entire mission must have been sabotaged. Not everyone welcomed the evidence to be documented, to say the least. But – we got it! The proof, the truth, “the real smoking gun!” ENDOXA'S own remarkably talented IT-Team, saved nearly all of the constantly uploaded footage. Now, we are facing the challenge to finalize our Documentary. We decided this particular “viral marketing” approach, so anyone could see what’s really going on, no matter what - how we are fed manipulated news. And, if any conspiracy ever fascinated anyone, well, - here IS one. This is THE one! Not to be mistaken for the “entertainment purposes only” and fictional works of “The Blair Witch Project” and “Paranormal Activity,” this documentary is REAL; a pioneering, groundbreaking production that, while being at the right place at the right time, will undoubtedly redefine the “Reality” Film Genre. 

Because we are the very first production crew, that filmed a Real 3D Documentary with a current budget of under $200K, - to this day unheard of!

We’re up to some major challenges, and as stated above, we have no immediate means to reach the final goal of securing the inevitable P&A expenses for the Theatrical release (see above) and to bring in a team of 3D specialists who’d assist us (again, see below) at only pennies worth of a typical budget.

(Awesome Truth Disclaimer: A “Rave Cinemas” Theatrical Distribution Deal is alive and well and - on the table! However, we must provide the initial 3D “Screener” and the cost of P&A. With over 2,500 screens, this Dallas, TX based Independent Theater Chain is currently the world’s 5th largest!)

Update Note: "ENDOXA Films" is currently in the talks with several major Studios for Theatrical Distribution.

The 3D aspect is crucial for this Documentary’s success and to further the Filmmakers credibility. Besides, when released in 3D, we pretty much have a guaranteed chance for the film to end up in the Theaters (see above.) That spells out our main goal: The truth’s EXPOSURE! (We are purposely avoiding the Networks, since the independent Movie Theaters are not manipulated nor controlled by the Media.) Also, everybody can "do the talk," but we actually did it. Naturally, we’d like to showcase “the how,“ and invention, hoping for public- and professional acceptability, and of course to continue our mission. What you may see, and to feel the events unfold as you would be right there within the moment, will be a truly life changing, mind-blowing experience. How could a 3D “Zapruder” Film have affected the world? We most likely would have seen the REAL shooter(s)!

Shot with sets of “Canon 5D Mark II’s” and “Sony NEX 5’s,” we succeeded only thanks to the on-loan Prototype Gear from our friend, the 3D Legend & Pioneer Allan Silliphant, (brother to the late, and Academy Award Winning Sterling Silliphant,) and dear friend to one of today’s 3D Experts, Tim Dashwood. Allan’s Team at “Sharper3D” will undertake the task to actually Key-Frame every Second of the film’s 3D Convergence. We feel blessed to see the legend himself at work in the weeks to come

Being set aside as an absolute minimum, additional funding would further a wider release of “Stephenville Sightings,” - a straight forward and ambitiously rewarding final goal.

Nonetheless, Allan’s friendship and belief in this Documentary are the only reasons why we are lucky enough to save a small fortune. We are very proud and pleased that we may stay true to this Micro Budget Film’s Genre.

Q: What sets your project apart from others seeking funding?

A: We are not trying to start a project, which is so much harder, but simply to finalize an already finished Documentary – Plus, we are very lucky to have Worldwide Distribution in Place!

Q: What will happen next and when?

A: Based on the “Kickstarter” response, we may finalize the Film’s 3D Convergence by June and start the P&A process immediately thereafter.

A: We are most certainly aiming for the magic 12.12.12 number. However, it will be up to the Distributing Studio to decide.

Q: When and how do I get my stuff?
