About this project

Be sure to check out the demo! (Mac too!)

Meteor Mail is a physics based puzzle game for PC and Mac that explores the difficulties of deep-space mail delivery. In the future, mail is packed into spheres and shot into the void by giant cannons. Gravity generators are used to adjust the paths of the mail spheres and guide them to their destinations. In their role as a gravity technician, the player must plan out new routes between the mail cannons and space stations by placing and adjusting these gravity generators, navigating their way around the many hazards of deep space.

Meteor Mail started off as a side project to mess around with Unity's gravity physics.  I kept on returning to it every now and then, adding more features and obstacles each time.  Eventually, I showed it to some friends of mine and they thought it was fun, and I realized that I had pretty much accidentally created a game. Since then, I've been working on getting it polished up and ready to be put on the market.  It's about half done now, and I'm getting close to the limits of what I can do on my own.  I need to contract a few people to help me get Meteor Mail ready for sale, and I have some features planned that require buying Unity Pro.  However, I'm even more interested in getting feedback.  Even if you just play the demo that I've linked to below, please give me any comments you have on the game.  Every bit of feedback you guys give will make Meteor Mail a better experience for everyone.

I'm a graduate student of Game Design and Development at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I've made several small games as part of my classes and I've done some freelance writing, but this is my first major venture into the world of game-making.

When I'm not working on stuff, I spend my time playing video games and running role-playing games.
