Pledged $5 for this just because it looks like a great project, even if there's no "gift" associated with it.
Looking forward to seeing this get done, one day!

Last moment donation to get you all a little closer to $50k... Good job guys. ;)
Creator Timothy Dick on July 15, 2011
Love it. Contributed to it. But stop giving away tons of lasts-100,000 years plastic junk like stickers, koozies & beachballs that will wind up in the River. Sustainability ought to be a value of this project. Plastic junk isn't part of that.
Creator Yana Marks on July 14, 2011
I am proud to be a backer of this project and would love for this pool to actually be completed by the time I graduate from college next summer :) GOOD LUCK!!!!
Creator Ian Zander on July 13, 2011
I have one question about the filtration process. Wouldnt it also keep the dirty water in the pool? Pool water, not constantly filtered gets pretty gross with people's hair, and skin and saliva, etc. If this has no way to escape out wouldnt it get gross in the pool very quickly?
Creator Ray & Cynthia Schureman on June 28, 2011
You are an insperation for the way in which you have created the synergy that is propelling this project.. Way to go!

DC and the Potomac are calling. I can't wait to see this work.
Creator Brice Webster on June 24, 2011
wow this is such a great idea. I love swimming in rivers but dont do it often because of how dirty they can be. This is such a cool thing because not only can people workout in the pool but you can have people just relaxing and enjoying the weather. It would be great to see these all around the world.
Creator Sierra Adami-Koll on June 23, 2011
We are going to need one in the Charles River as well :) Great idea!
Creator Cody Pope on June 23, 2011
I think thin this is a f-ing awesome idea! I swim all summer and winter long in New York and I think this would be the best pool in the five boroughs by far.
Quick questions though, would the water be brackish or salty? I actually like swimming in salt water, so no problem from me. Just curious about the filtration system (desal is hard and expensive).
Creator Diana Martinez on June 22, 2011

We will make a special trip up north just to swim in this pool! Let's make it happen!
Creator Maya Contreras on June 19, 2011
love this idea. once we get New York funded, let's float one down to DC!
Creator Ben Wiley on June 19, 2011
you should drop one at the top of a river, let it float down, pick it up at the ocean, and bring it back. it would be the greatest waste of time ever.
Creator Steven Melvin on June 16, 2011
I like this because the cross between innovation and splashing in a pool. Can I also put a vote towards dropping one outside Pittsburgh city centre.
