We'd like to thank everyone who has pledged funds to back the production costs of our next CD. We really had no idea that we would reach our goal so quickly, and we are truly grateful!
Because the projects here on Kickstarter are time sensitive and must be planned in advance, this Kickstarter page will remain active and continue accepting pledges until the date the project will 'officially' be funded. [May 31, 2011]. Potential backers will, of course, receive the same pledge incentives listed on our page. Depending on the total amount accepted at the end of the pledge drive, we may be able to explore even better packaging options and alternatives for the new release.
As you already know, we are anticipating the distribution of the new disc for the fall of 2011. Some songs have already been written and recorded, while others are still being written, arranged and further developed. We will begin posting regular weekly updates to all the backers and keep them informed of our progress, as we move forward.

The Lost Patrol's new album is well underway and we are asking our friends, fans and supporters to help finance the final production costs of this new CD. We're really excited about the progress we have been making on the new disc and we are anticipating an early fall 2011 release. A couple of important things you should know before you decide to pledge:
1) You must have an Amazon.com account to pledge through Kickstarter.com. This is how we will collect your pledges. If you wish to make a pledge and don't have an Amazon.com amount, please email us at pledges@thelostpatrol.com and we'll make that work for you.
2) Your account WILL ONLY BE CHARGED if we reach our goal of $1,500 by the end of the pledge drive, sometime in late-May. This is an all-or-nothing venture!
