Kickstarter

I have been working on this full-length album of new songs for well over a year now. I've heard from many, many people that they are anxious to hear it, and I am excited to share it with everybody.

I've been paying for everything out of pocket, little by little, as we go along and it's been taking way too long. We now have the mixing mostly completed and then it needs mastering, artwork layout, design & production, replication/packaging, digital download cards printed and other promo materials.

I'm really excited about these new songs and the lineup of stellar musicians who've helped me bring them to life:

Casey Miller who played all of the drums and percussion and co-produced it with me

Chris Galli on Fender electric and double bass

Shaky Dave Manion on Telecaster, lap steel, pedal steel, baritone and dobro

Bernie Reilly who played accordion, banjo, guitars, organ, piano and sang harmony vocals

Thomas Paul who is also a man of many instruments and a really great singer plays guitars, keyboards, mandolin, vocals

We also had Jonah Shue from the Frim Fram Four on fiddle and mandolin and a special guest appearance by Curtis Stigers on tenor sax.

And Jason Ringelstetter is our engineer at The Tonic Room in Boise.

I know that music is important and that it matters to a lot of people. It matters to me. I hope it matters to you. And music can make a difference. I know I have been able to use my music to support many causes and organizations I believe in over the years, and now I am excited to have members of this amazing community that I’m so proud to be part of as backers of this project.

I am new to Kickstarter myself but have already found some projects that I'm interested in backing and I'm sure there will be many more.
