I'd like to thank everyone who has looked at our project and especially to our backers.  The idea that complete strangers along with some friends and family would try and help us produce more maple sugar is incredible.  Having said that, we have less than 72 hours till the project ends and it looks like we might come up short.

We are still committed to producing bulk quantities of maple sugar and will be trying to make some of it available later this year at prices lower than larger producers because we feel so strongly about this project.  We can't make as much as the maple sugar machine could, but we think we can make some.

I hope that anyone who has had an interest in our project of producing a healthy, natural sweetener for the masses will look toward our farm's Website at http://RealMapleSyrup.com/ for updates as we slowly try and produce real maple sugar.

One week in!

Hi Everyone,

Well, we're a week in and not quite to 10% of our goal but we are moving forward!  We continue to explore new ways to reach out and find additional backers.  I've created a link at our Website, RealMapleSyrup.com/project for anyone who would like a quick link to the project pages and to make it easier to get the word out.

Thanks to all our backers and those who are helping us get the word out!  Even if you can't back us, telling friends and posting this on facebook will help draw in more potential backers.

We are on our way!

Thanks to our first backer we are on our way!

We've put up a FAQ and will put in more questions as they come up.  Our first question had to do with exchanging some of the rewards and absolutely YES we can do that.  If something is similar, just let us know when we collect backer info (if we're successful).

We've sent a link out to all our friends and family and posted this on facebook accounts but PLEASE PLEASE if you have facebook and you like our project, post a link to the project.  Even if you can't be a backer, the moral support is great and one of your friends or family might want to back us.
