Well Nate, I logged in today to see you were still 85 dollars short of target. As I was your first backer, happy to now also be the one to push you into funding, I am a big believer in Kickstarter and want to see your project succeed. Congrats, GM

Nate Congratulations!!!!!! This is great news; I'm looking forward to playing Final Twilight and introducing the game to my gaming group.

Big thanks to Nate's friend Dru!

Let's go everyone, especially those on the fence, jump on board for the great promos and get Nate to GENCON with Final Twilight!

Looking good, Nate. I am proud that my former Key20 brother-in-arms is back at it. May both our projects reach full funding and beyond!

I absolutely love Kickstarter, and keep up on most new gaming projects, so it was a really nice surprise to have found FT. I totally did a double take when I first saw it though.

Yeah, I am sure that Area 51 was afraid they would be sitting on the product, unable to sell it... But, you know, they ended up setting on a ton of Dreamblade boosters and D&D blue dragon figures... And that was Wizard's product! *Shakes head* Say, you wouldn't want any Dreamblade figures, would you? I'll sell them cheap! LOL!

I firmly believe in independant games, there almost always seems to be alot more heart and soul put into them.

      Sentinels of the Multiverse
      Don't Rest Your Head
      JourneyQuest
and now (and once again) Final Twilight.

Are just some of the indie projects I've become a part of, and darn happy to be.

Well, I hope you find greater success this time around so I can tell all the young gamers how "I was there when it all started and I have the cards to prove it! Signed even!" LOL!

Ha! That's fantastic Jason - I'm glad you were able to find us on here! As to the longevity of the game, the All Hallow's Eve was our first year, actually, but what I ran into was I couldn't get stores to stock it directly so while Area 51 was generous enough to host the event they never bought into the line. We did break into distribution the next spring, and kept it going through the end of 2006 though, so we didn't do too badly for an independent card game of the time.
As to your old cards, I'm afraid they won't really be compatible. In doing the work on the system and the new edition, my playtesters and I decided it was best to start as close to square one as we could; a lot of the basic structure is the same, and a lot of the cards behave the same, just fine details are different as we balanced and rebalanced. The new cards will have a new back to keep them apart. You've effectively got a pack of Alpha cards though, so if the relaunch turns into something bigger than the original you've got a neat collectible on your hands~

Haha! Found my old cards! They're in pretty good shape actually. Had to tape up the boxes though. I got think I won a copy of Faust and bought Jarus, but either there weren't enough to sell, or I couldn't afford Kerra on the day. (Never played her actually.)

I remember getting to play this game years ago at Area 51 at your All Hallows-Eve event! Then... It was like the game fell completely off radar. Its good to see it still exists. I wonder, will my old cards still play, or have you changed the game?

Thanks so much for adding the pledge level I asked for - proving you listen to feedback which I think is extremely important in a games designer!!
Really hope this gets the funding it deserves, the game looks awesome and I'm dying to get to play it :)
