Kickstarter

Hello all,

We're past the funding period and on the homestretch. I've sent surveys to all $40 and $50 backers regarding the signed books; please get these back to me ASAP so I can order the books from the publisher.

All of the puzzles have been constructed now, and are currently going through playtesting and revision. My next task will be to do the layout work for the Cryptics Monthly appearances. The April 1 delivery date for the puzzles is now assured, I'm happy to say!

Hello all,

Just wanted you to know that I'm still on schedule with The Crypt -- most of the cryptics are done now, and I've even finished one of the bonus puzzles. I'm currently aiming for a delivery date of April 1, which seems quite possible.

This morning my total topped $6000, which is more than I ever thought I'd earn from this project -- and since I'm receiving more than I expected, you should too. So I'm adding a bonus cryptic to the set: A 19x19 block-style cryptic, which should allow me to use some of the longer wordplay finds in my files. All backers will receive this cryptic, even those at the non-cryptic $10 level (who knows, maybe I'll make a few converts). Thanks again, everybody.

My sincere thanks to all of my backers for making The Crypt a reality. Rest assured that I'm working diligently on the remaining puzzles, and hope to get them to you as early in April as possible.

When the funding period is over, I'll send my $40-and-up backers a complete list of my available Sterling books to choose from.

On a side note: If you don't already know about Mike Selinker's intriguing "Maze of Games" (a Kickstarter project to produce a handsomely-illustrated puzzle novel), it's well worth a look. I'll be constructing a puzzle for its "Conundrucopia."
