About this project
The BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand has been playing music all over the United States for the past three years traveling in their 1992 Dodge Ram Van. Music is the glue that has held it all together and the BrownChicken Train keeps on rolling despite any mechanical mis-haps.
This video is just a short glimpse into the trials, troubles and over-powerering optimism the band has experienced as they've broken down, stalled, rattled and bounced across the country for performances. The time has come, however, for BCBCSB to reach out for a little support to help them get a new van. Although they have independently raised part of the funds already, they thought a Kickstarter would be a fantastic way for their fans, friends and family to get involved and support the cause.

BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand is a West Virginia band. Xander Hitzig, Justin Morris, Orion Hitzig, Kat Fountain and Matt Del Olmo are BrownChicken. They began performing on stage during the Spring of 2008. The Boys performed a handful public shows in Southern West Virginia before the Brothers Hitzig moved to Maui, Hawaii and changed the destiny of the band forever.
BrownChicken gelled as a group fast, effortlessly. It was easy because it was a group of good people that loved music, laughing, being social and partying. During late evening jams at various back porches and campfires the band was born. The boys spent a lot of time together, the results of which quickly began to show up in the music. This particular group of people really care about the music and each other... it's a family; or as they call it: "Tribe".
