About this project

Ask a 21 year old what they like to drink, the answer is usually "cheap beer," ask a 22 year old what they like to drink, and the answer is usually "GOOD beer!" Ask a 40 year old what they like the drink, the answer is usually "GREAT beer!" The art of craft beer is exciting, forever changing, and loved by people of all ages, genders, races, and cultures. Beer is more than just a drink to drink, it is a beverage that has evolved over thousands of years to be the rich delicacy that it is today made buy people who love what they do, and love sharing what they create.

The state of Colorado is known world-wide for the outdoor playground nestled in the Rocky Mountains, and the epicenter for growing trend of craft beer. Beer Culture aims to tell the unique and captivating stories about the struggles and successes of some of the state’s best craft microbrewers. Hear their stories about passion, integrity, and unwavering motivation to give beer drinkers a higher quality product. Watch first hand interviews with brew masters, home brewer enthusiasts, and company owners as they tell their stories of turning a craft into commerce. Men and women who have turned their passion of beer into a successful, modern view of the American Dream.

We currently have interviews with the following breweries, as well as key players in the world of craft beer: New Belgium, Upslope, Avery, Tommy Knocker, Oscar Blues, Colorado's Governor-Elect John Hickenlooper, President of the Brewers Association Charlie Papazian, along with personnel associated with beer festivals, and more interviews in the process of being filmed.

Beer Culture is currently in the production phase, which has been produced on a shoe string budget by college film students. We are nearing the finalization of production, post-production and promotion/distribution process requires a far deeper pocket. We plan on hiring an editor, submitting to film festivals, and advertising like crazy to promote this intriguing, popular, exciting culture of craft beer. So please help us with our film that shows the world the stories behind "what's in your glass?"
