A two-week art residency at Appendix Project Space, which will end with a giant crazy show!
I'm headed to Portland, Oregon for a two week visual arts residency. I'm going to push my limits and experiment with new ideas, all under the guidance of the Appendix Collective Members and my Kickstarter backers. The residency ends with an exhibition of the work and a giant opening party! We need to fund video monitors, batteries, cords, paint, tools, shipping and travel costs.

The backers circle is how Kickstarter backers can get directly involved in the residency. It will be a blog (housed in the blue "updates" tab above) only for Kickstarter backers who have pledged more than $5 to the project. Katie will dispatch progress reports with images and video, and people in the circle can respond to critique, praise, bash, make recommendations, say or ask anything they want about the work being made.

Yes! Even if you're reading this after the residency begins on August 1st, you'll still be able to see all the backers-only blog posts and contribute to the conversation. The Kickstarter campaign will close just in time for the final critique on August 11th, in case you should choose that prize.
