A film dramatization of the unsuccessful peace conference between Lord Howe, representing the British Crown and John Adams, Edward Rutledge and Ben Franklin, representing the American colonists. The actual event took place on September 11th, 1776, shortly after the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia. The Conference took place in the home of Christopher Billopp, a British loyalist in Staten Island, NY. the film will be shot on location in the actual home and has the support of The Conference House Association.
