This project is an American Grindhouse art style that has a throw back feeling of the pre World War 2 pin up girl art and how it was viewed back in the 50’s. In this second installment of Lascivious, it’s packed with another 30page display of where the next generation of American pin up art is headed. A re-vamped style of American art that has slowly gone to way side, this art form is slowly making a come back, and with your support we can get the ball rolling in bringing back the American Pin up and American Grind House art back to where it should be.

Brandon Young has the combination of talent and vision necessary to succeed in today’s diverse and unique creative culture. In this latest volume of his work, Young has creatively mixed media (comic art and photography). Beyond that (and more specifically), the direction of Young’s work has something for all lovers of contemporary art. His drawings are of faceless ladies in provocative poses, tasteful. While the faceless ‘models’ are a bit off-putting at first, Young explains “it’s easy to concentrate on a pretty face and miss the rest of what’s going on in the work.” Fair enough. The drawings are then superimposed over shots of locations (i.e., the Roman Coliseum), making the finished pieces look like hand-crafted post cards that say “Wish You Were Here” without needing the words.
