About Us

We are two best friends who moved to the mountains of Vail, CO from Chicago and San Francisco. We believe in living a full life with family, friends and in good health.

Aryn is an event designer by day and leads all things creative, inspired and beautiful at Dressed Up.  She is a new mom to the cutest little peanut around, and she spends her days convincing Jamie to spend money on the little extras (signage!) that give Dressed Up its special touch.

Jamie is a brand strategist by day and manages the “left-side” of Dressed Up (finance, operations, blah, blah...). She is Liam’s favorite aunt (or at least likes to think so) and thinks she spends half her day explaining why “we can’t buy that” to Aryn.

Our Story

The idea for Dressed Up was born one day as two best friends stood in the salad dressing aisle. We were looking for a dressing that would make our salad healthier, would taste great, and would be fun to pass around the table with friends. We were surprised to find out that no matter how hard we looked, all the dressings were loaded with sugar, fat, and chemicals, and felt uninspired. As we walked away empty-handed we thought, ‘let's make a dressing that we want.’

 So we set out to create an inspired, thoughtful and vibrant salad dressing that adds vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber to your salad, while enhancing its natural flavor. We worked with a professional chef and nutritionist, and searched high and low for the finest natural ingredients. Then we put it in a bottle that we love, and we think you will too!

We need you

Your support will allow us to grow and to bring our dressings to a store near you. Your orders will help us reach the following goals for January 2013:

Rent a larger kitchen: While we love our little kitchen, we are quickly outgrowing it!  A larger kitchen will enable us to efficiently produce more dressing to meet our demand.

Create two new flavors: We LOVE our Purple Carrot Dressing but it is time to add two more flavors to our line.  By offering more tasty and delicious flavors we will provide a dressing that everyone can love and feel good about.  Three flavors will change us from a "great product" to a competitive brand!

Get into more stores: While Colorado will always be our home we want to spread our wings.  This type of scale will require us to purchase ingredients by the pallet!  The good news is, that all three flavors of Dressed Up Salad Dressing will then be available at a store near you!

Our product is fresh and natural; sourcing good ingredients is the most important part of our business. Changes to crops, weather conditions and ingredient availability will continually be a challenge. This keeps us on on our toes. We plan far ahead and always look for ways to improve our supply chain. Because of this we are so invested in each ingredient and their benefit that we are more passionate about our product today than when we started! And we plan to make you a passionate believer as well:)
