Dark Prophecy is an iPad game that has been in development for nearly one year. It is a true retro RPG game in the style of the old school Bard’s Tale and Wizardry games. If you loved those games you will love Dark Prophecy. It's designed solely for play on the iPad using touch screen to navigate and play the game. Build a party of up to 5 adventurers. Choose from 5 Character Classes and 5 Races each with unique abilities.
Below are just a few photos from the game. Visit the web site listed above for more photos of game screens and full feature details.
There are over 60 dungeon levels to explore on your quest to discover and stop the Dark Prophecy. Countless hours of game play await you.
Create your own characters or use the default party. Equip them with over 80 items to help them in their travels. Items ranging from melee and ranged weapons to armor, shields, potions and scrolls. Level up your party as you play to ensure your survival against tougher enemies.
Battle many enemies throughout your quest through turn based style combat similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Each character is assigned a turn within the combat. Tap which enemy the player wishes to attack. Fight Hand to Hand, Use Ranged Weapons, Cast Spells, and Use Potions or Scrolls to defeat the great evils that you will face on your journey.

Being a lone developer with no financial backing I have solely funded the project thus far. I need continued funding to pay for art work, mixing and mastering the games musical soundtrack and marketing the game once it is completed.
Dark Prophecy will run on iPad devices and includes Hi-res graphics for iPad 3 owners.
When will it be done:
If project funding is successful I anticipate an December release for the game. If the project is funded anyone who pledged at the beta tier level will be able to start beta testing in Mid to Late September.
Thanks for taking a look at my project. It has been like a second job to me working on it every single day after my main job sometimes very late into the night. I want to make Dark Prophecy the best retro style RPG game out there.
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
