Friends and fellow Bahndrers,

Thank you for your support, we've been blown away by the huge influx of new Bahndrers that came to the app via our Kickstarter campaign and the tremendous amounts of feedback you shared.  We heard you, and I am happy to report the next version of Bahndr is available on the Apple iTunes marketplace. The iTunes package may say "version 1.2.1", but we call it the "Kickstarter Edition", because it's chock full of your ideas!

One major theme we heard from you was that users of Bahndr needed more ways to interact amongst themselves. We saw that too, so in this version we implemented a follower / following experience within Bahndr. Now you can keep track of your favorite Bahndrers much like you would on Twitter or Quora through a fully-functional following mechanism. Once you follow someone, look for their updates to appear in your notification feed. 

But that's not all! You asked for profile photos, and they are here. You said the app was slow, its less slower now. You told us the book reading experience didn't flow, so we made the app always turn to the latest page when when opened.

Bahndr is a creative experiment, and your feedback shapes how we move forward.  We are creating a community where people are challenged to take the funny and insightful content they post to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc... and showcase it to the world as a page in Bahndr. We'd love to hear your ideas as our experiment continues.

Many of you have asked "Why name it Bahndr?!". We wrote a blog post to shine some light on that mystery and the rest of the Bahndr story.

We're not done yet. We have another big Kickstarter release planned later this month with major game-enhancing features. Stay tuned, spread the word, and look for an update on in late April.

Until then, keep bahndring, and don't stop the feedback.
