Hello!
Well, I have good news about my project in Rwanda - on Friday I purchased my ticket and I will be going there on the 17th of February and returning to the States on the 27th. A colleague of mine will be joining me and helping to shape the interview portion of the project, both in terms of developing the questions and collecting the information.
Her name is Courtney Fletcher and she was just hired as an Assistant Professor where I teach, Cal Poly Pomona. She has worked in Uganda, South Africa and Ethiopia before on projects of her own design. I am thrilled that she'll be traveling with me and completing the project with me, too. This is a very strong development, and I'll keep you updated as plans and arrangements unfold.
