Choreographer Sophie Olson has been chosen to present her latest choreography "STUCK" at a dance festival in San Diego.

Hi there! My name is Sophie Olson and I'm a choreographer from Los Angeles, originally from Canada. 

I love dance and consider myself lucky to have the opportunity to choreograph new works that every now and then is appreciated and recognized by others.
One of my most recent pieces, "STUCK", was accepted by the IGNITE dance festival in San Diego, California. 

I'm hoping you can help me send my four principal dancers (plus myself) to the festival.

Jodie, Kim, Robyn and Carole have been performing for me for five years and I consider them to be best of the best.  I want  them to be exposed to other dance companies and choreographers so that they can make connections and expand as dancers and carve out a solid dance career for themselves.

As for me, I would like to expose my work to broader audience, get more exposure as a choreographer and grow as an artist.

I believe that dance heals, excites, inspires and moves us. The opportunity to perform at IGNITE dance festival will give us an avenue to do precisely that.
Sophie Olson Dance Explosion is a non-profit dance company, we rely completely on the generosity of our audience and donors to finance all of our projects.

We need to raise $1800 by April 14th. This money will cover travel expenses, gas, hotel accommodations, food and a small stipend to all my dancers.
