Lost Lander is a new project founded by songwriter / forester Matt Sheehy, produced by Brent Knopf, and features Dave Lowensohn, Sarah Fennell, and Patrick Hughes. Matt Sheehy began the project at the beginning of 2010 after returning from tour with Ramona Falls, for whom he plays guitar along with Brent and Dave.
The debut album, DRRT, explores the modern dilemma of being both helplessly addicted to our technology and of being overwhelmed by it. The album also questions what it means to work with our hands vs. our minds.
Guest musicians include Dana Janssen, Holly Sheehy, Lucia Conrad, Nick Jaina, Seth Olinsky, Scott Magee, and Sean Flinn among others.
Now please leave the telethon before somebody resorts to cannabalism!
Gigantic Menomena/ Ramona Falls/ Lackthereof/ Dear Reader fan here ... posted this link to the Sirius XMU Facebook wall. Hope it helps. BEST OF LUCK to you and PLEASE come to the High Noon Saloon in Madison, Wisconsin when you go on tour!!!!
Those videos are hysterical. Spreading the word here!
The photo was taken in Colorado, USA.
Here's what the photographer, Robert Arn, has to say about it:
"This image marks a time of change for space exploration. We see the Space Shuttle Discovery crossing the night sky (bottom trail) hours after it undocked from the International Space Station (top trail). Less than a day after this image was taken, Discovery landed on Earth and was put into retirement. "
That photo (cover?) is amazing. Where was it taken?
