Help Brave the River finish a double-album called "Strange Currents," a concept record based on my journey across three continents.
STRANGE CURRENTS: A concept album of longing, restlessness, and the pursuit of dreams...
Two years ago, my life felt like it was falling to pieces. In the midst of a personal crisis, I began questioning everything I'd come to know as truth. After nearly quitting music entirely, I threw myself into a new music project called Brave the River.
After moving to Ireland to study Film and Celtic Literature, I embarked on a journey across three continents which took me from the slopes of Europe's snow-capped mountains to the edges of the Sahara and the minarets of Istanbul. In it all, I found music. That music has become "Strange Currents," Brave the River's debut record. After writing over 40 songs, I performed and produced the entire record myself. It's a double-album of indie rock: 23 tracks on 2 CDs. And I'm really excited about how it sounds. But I need your help.

After financing the production of the record myself, I've reached the end of my budget. But I'm not quite finished. I'm mixing the record myself, but I still need to:
-have the record mastered
-get it pressed on CD with Conrad Roset's gorgeous artwork (http://www.conradroset.com/)
To do this, I need at least $750. So I've put together a bunch of great rewards for whoever wishes to back me... my favorite pledge: $75 and I'll write you a song!
That's right: I'll write and record you a song. It could be for your boyfriend, or for your girlfriend, or for your pet cat. It doesn't matter! Just make it good because it might end up on my next album!
