Hey Mongolia! We are embarking on our first National Tour, the 2012 VANS WARPED TOUR, this summer and need YOUR help!

Thank you for taking the time to check out our Kickstarter Funding Page. We are only asking for this initial $5,000 to get us “kickstarted”, because if we don’t meet this goal, we don’t get to keep ANY of it. That’s right; $4,999.99 just won’t cut it – it’s gotta be $5,000.00 or more before we get to keep any of your donations. We don’t wanna risk pushing you guys too hard in these incredibly crappy economic times, and wanted to shoot for something remotely realistic. Unfortunately, $5,000 is merely a tip of the iceberg that is our projected expenses for this tour. To give you an idea of where YOUR money is going, here’s a breakdown of some of the things we’ll be needing:
- Bus Rental/ Transportation............................ $ 5,000
- Merch Tent.................................................... $ 1,500
- Stage Banner/ Signs...................................... $ 1,000
- Promotional Items (Flyers/ Stickers/ etc)....... $ 2,500
- Studio Time (to finish "Exclaim Yourself!).... $ 6,000
- CD Duplication from Discmakers................... $ 3,000
- Hand Truck/ Travel Equipment...................... $ 500
- And of course, GAS!!!.................................... $ Ten Billion Dollars.
....along with our merchandise, which we will be fronting the costs for, and many more ancillary items such as cases, cables, backpacks, receipt books, food, batteries, truck stop showers, Gold Bond Medicated Powder (you know what it’s for…), and air fresheners for the bus so Lindsay doesn't asphyxiate, we have a LONG way to go. *REMEMBER: We get to keep EVERYTHING over $5,000, but NOTHING under $5,000, so please... tell your friends :)

All the money pledged by all of our backers will be refunded. Kickstarter does not retain any percentage of the money pledged if our goal is not met.

First of all, we'd like to assure you that all credit card donations are processed securely through Amazon. I can confidently tell you your information will remain secure.
However, if you're still not convinced, you can contact Lindsay at lindsay@mightymongo.com and find out where to send a check (or late night pizza) in the stead of a pledge through Kickstarter. We can deposit the check into our business account and donate from there.

Definitely. We want to accommodate our fans as much as possible since YOU GUYS are the ones who make everything we do possible.

We obviously understand how it is to be without a constant cash flow... we're literally begging for money, here. If you're in the same boat as us and just don't have the money to spare, steal some quarters out of a fountain and donate a dollar to our Kickstarter!

Seriously though, a real way you can help is to please tell your friends about what we're doing. Introduce them to Mighty Mongo, bring them out to a show, tell them about Warped Tour, and help us grow in a way that means more than money. Having new fans learn about our music for the first time is such an incredible thing for us and we will love you forever if you share the Mongo experience with your friends.
