Think back to a time in your childhood when your mom dressed you up in some ridiculous outfit for a special family holiday. Remember how uncomfortable and out of place you felt?

And remember that time you were frantically searching for that special something to wear to your best friend's wedding and no matter how many stores you went into and how many racks you combed, you came up empty? Remember that frustration?

I want you to imagine feeling this discomfort and frustration every day. 88% of queer women report feeling this way on a daily basis. Every time they open their closet, step foot into a retail store, they struggle. They struggle to find clothes that not only fit them properly, but allow them to express themselves authentically while feeling comfortable and confident. Androgyny is a fit solution company aimed at serving this underserved demographic of women.

I am one of these women. For years I've struggled to find my identity on the racks of mass-market chains. I've seen my friends and community struggle with the same dilemma, and I finally decided it was time to do something about it. After creating Androgyny, I found that even women outside the queer community were craving for my shirts! The unifying theme of confidence has no limits.

Over the past year, we have been working tirelessly on the launch of Androgyny. We now stand on the ledge of our cliff. Our samples are complete, our customers are biting, and our identity is solidified. Our mission is to inspire personal confidence by providing clothes that fit as true as your own skin. Timeless in their simplicity and aesthetic, our garments are revolutionized with a modern fit to challenge what defines fashion in a premium shirt. Our products offer a men's aesthetic re-engineered for the female form.

With our Kickstarter campaign we are hoping to raise enough contributions to fund our initial production run. Our products are crafted from the finest raw materials available - premium Japanese fabric, Shell buttons - and handcrafted in limited quantities in San Francisco, CA.

Our Fit

The problem with typical women’s shirts:

• Too-form fitting
• Too feminine
• Too short in length
• Sleeves often too short or ¾ length
• The boob button is constantly pulling and popping
• Darting on front draws too much attention to the chest

We offer FREE domestic shipping and shipping on size exchanges if needed. There is an additional shipping cost on international orders, please use the appropriate amount per reward.

Yes we will contact you after the campaign ends and take your size request. Our premium button down shirts come in S-XL. Our t-shirts XXS-3XL.
