An American Cupcake In Paris just HAS to have our very own Cupcake Truck!! A chip off the old ice cream truck..
Our language of love is baking. I am a hairstylist by day, baker by night. My daughter is a photographer and makeup artist by day, baker by night (yes, we may just be of the vampire persuasion). We feel the need to make the world happy, one melt in your mouth bite at a time. So we decided to create An American Cupcake In Paris.
An American Cupcake In Paris was actually born in Paris. My daughter and I were visiting Paris and decided we wanted a baking business. So we came up with the name and the niche...and we created our 'Club'. Every month we have 2 flavor selections that are boxed and delivered right to your door. You can purchase a 3, 6 or 12 month membership. We also do special events (weddings, birthdays, retirement parties, etc) and Smashcake Packages. What's a Smashcake you ask? It's a giant cupcake usually used for baby's or toddler's birthday parties. It's their own personal cake that they can 'smash'. Our package includes the Smashcake, a photographer for 2 hours, the photo DVD and a small brag book.
While dreaming up our perfect cupcake business niche we realized that it just SCREAMED Ice Cream Truck....or our version thereof. We just HAD to have a cupcake truck to drive down the neighborhood streets with the music playing, enticing kids and kids at heart to chase us. So the Cupcake Truck was born!
That's where you come in. We put this project in Kickstarter hoping to gain enough support from cupcake lovers over the world to help us attain our goals! The business is up and running.......

Donations for our little project will go for the following: purchase of a small step van (approx 15 feet long), renovation of said truck, paint and vinyl covering and signage, music and sound equipment and...yes, a soft serve ice cream machine (the swirl kind) too!!
Any donations (of $$ or equipment) above the amount needed to fund our truck will go towards our commercial kitchen - which we plan on using as a community project to help other small business food ventures get started.
