Kickstarter

Update:  WE HIT OUR GOAL!  Which is absolutely amazing, considering our Kickstarter has only been going for 11 days.  Even though we've hit our goal, we still need more help.  Recording is going to cost us more than $700, and with other fees, we would love raise more money!  Plus, if can raise enough money, we'll even start thinking about recording another song for the album or maybe getting CDs made!

Hey!  We're Eric and Jeff and we are High School Girls, a band from Lafayette, IN!  We started playing together about a year ago now, with a band goal to make everyone happy all the time.  Since then, we've spent our time writing an album's worth of killer pop songs and playing around Lafayette and West Lafayette.  

Last November, we had the amazing opportunity to go into the studio at Lafayette Recording Co. with Casey Latter and record three songs for a short EP called Breakfast Years (click on the link to hear it).  After a couple days in the studio, we fell in love with how the tracks sounded, and we started throwing around the idea of trying to get a full-length recorded in the studio.  We were able to front the cost for the three tracks we already did, but when it came to doing four or five more, the amount became too much for us individually.  

So we've created this Kickstarter so that we can try to get the rest of our album's recording funded!  We're gonna do four or five more songs, which will cost about $750, and we'll have our debut album!  We're hoping we can hit our goal, and hopefully go over too!  We would like to thank everyone in advance for helping us fund this album, it's a big dream of ours to get these songs some nice professional quality recording!
