Rebels, freaks, prophets,
Goose delivered the final mixes this weekend and we are SO psyched! We think yall will be too. We're currently right on schedule for an early Fall release. Matt Pence is mastering the record as we speak and we're hoping to have it sent to the plant by the time WW, Inc gets back from Europe in early July. The amazing Robert Beatty has agreed to do the cover art, which we're very excited about as well.
Other exciting news is that once the limited LP run has sold out, Fire Records will be releasing the album on CD, so you can tell your friends who are square and don't own turntables that they can still get a copy on Amazon or, preferably, at their favorite brick and mortar record store! The CD version won't be out until the LPs are gone, though, so don't expect the CD until Christmas at the earliest.
In addition to solo dates in Europe, WW and the Briarwood Virgins have several shows coming up this summer and early fall, including a stop at the Hopscotch Festival in Raleigh, NC, and a short southeast tour.
