About this project
Brooke Trout, Big Dave and Vincent are a band of creative and dedicated artists who make their own brand of rock and roll justice, but they are not The Red Herring. The Red Herring is a fish! Learn the secret of The Red Herring!
We have released our debut, self titled EP on Cd Baby, iTunes and other online retailers in anticipation of our full album, to be released in January. We are planning on recording at the historic 4th Street Recording studio and working with some of the finest music professionals in Los Angeles and New York City! This, my little fishies, is where you come in.
Our goal is to raise at least $1000 by October 15th! As we here at The Red Herring are endlessly crafty, we are going to offer several awesome donation packages we think you'll love.
The proceeds of this campaign will all be used for the entire production process, including recording, mixing, mastering, and duplication.

Brooke Trout emerged from the sea with an orange Danelectro, passed down from the first King of the Britains.
Big Dave spent years in seclusion, a hairy behemoth alone in a cave, playing a dead man’s harmonica.
Vincent was mutated in a top secret laboratory beneath Alcatraz, escaped, and travels the country destroying drum sets.
Together, they are a polyphonic combination of jungle beats, space echos, and phased, driving rhythm, but they are not The Red Herring.
The Red Herring is a fish.
