This $10,000 project has already been 50% funded! It would be amazing to have a fully funded project by the end of our Kickstarter campaign!!!
Because of your generosity, we've reached our kickstarter goal within one week of beginning our campaign! Honestly, we are pretty amazed.
So, with your support already propping us up, we are going to go for it. This was a $10,000 project and it would be amazing to fund more than 50% of it before we release the cd.
What an amazing gift you've given us. It's hard to explain how much it means, but we'll do our best. For the last twelve years we have saved money from shows to raise money for recording, then saved that money to make each of our five cds. All five cds were partly funded by shows and cd sales, but honestly, we've never paid ourselves for any of our hard work making the cds because we've been saving it to fund the next cd project or to pay off the debt from the cd project we had just completed.
If we are able to release our 5th cd with all of our expenses paid off, then we will actually be able to pay ourselves by the end of the year, once we've set aside enough money to make the next round of Delicious cds. (We think we'll be ordering the next thousand copies of Delicious pretty darn soon after we release the cd in May)
