The project is a 6-track EP, Melissa Wrolstad’s very first album! Melissa has been writing songs since the age of 11, just never got around to doing serious recording as she made her way through engineering school. She’s saving her $$’s like a crazy lady to finally fund this endeavor, but she needs help!
The Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha, WI, inspired the title track to the CD. Melissa had seen the sign to the Mars Cheese Castle on the drive to Grandma’s house so many times, she started dreaming of becoming Princess Cheese. The title track details the incredible fairy tale of Princess Cheese being rescued from a giant block of cheddar by Prince Cheese and then getting married in the Wisconsin Mars Cheese Castle. As the CD rolls along, it takes you through her adventures of love, fury, longing and hope.
