I must say I'm becoming uncomfortable with no communication regarding the extra attachment for the lens cap holder. My last email went unanswered. I doo hope you intend to keep your promise. Please update.
Thank you!
Creator Vadim Gordin on December 20, 2011
Hi Teddy and George,
The samples of the adapter are at the manufacturer. Once everything is set with where and how it's being stitched, I'll release the adapter.
Did you place your names on the adapter mailing list?

Any news on the extra attachment for the lens cap holder. I bought the lens loop based on your answer that the lens loop would be compatible with the lens cap holder.
Thanks!
Creator George Ku on November 27, 2011
Yea! I'd like to get a lens cap holder adapter too. How do I go about getting that?
Creator Ashley Hunt-Martorano on November 3, 2011
Love the lens loop but I want to use my lens cap holder ASAP too! I can't wait for the adapter. They will automatically be mailed to backers or do we have to request one? I've referred one friend so far and might buy one for my father-in-law for Christmas. Thanks!
Creator Dave Keifer on October 18, 2011
I have been using my Lens Loop for a week or so and I absolutely love it! Well done! Got my Cap Buckle today and I can hardly wait to combine them and watch them morph into the camera strap/cap holder system of awesomeness! Thanks!
Creator Robert Weiniger on October 17, 2011
Vadim,
I've had my 1st Edition Lens Loop for a few weeks now and I must compliment you on such a fine, elegantly simple design, perfectly executed. My only quibble is that the strap, as produced, is considerable overkill when used with cameras like Nikon D90, D3100, D5100, etc.. A similarly configured product, employing 1 1/2" plush (0.08") nylon webbing and hardware would be "just what the Doctor ordered" for these less massive cameras. I've already made and tested about a dozen of these and passed then out among friends at the local camera club, etc. and the feedback has been invariably positive. Would you consider marketing a "LensLoop Lite" for those of use with smaller cameras than Nikon D3s and Hasselblads? If so, could I use my 1st edition black lensloop for trade or resell it here on your site with some incentive for you?
My heartiest congratulations to you on the successful launch of the Lensloop...it's unquestionably the finest product of its kind ever made, but it is a bit oversized for even my D90 and 70-300mm zoom.
Warmest regards,
Bob Weiniger

Just posted a review on my blog about the Lens Loop. http://www.sarahhipwell.com/blog/2011/10/review-of-the-lens-loop-sling-camera-strap/
Creator Taylor Anderson on October 14, 2011
Loving the lens loop! ...and totally looking forward to the adapter for the Lens Cap Holder. :-)
Creator Vadim Gordin on October 13, 2011
@JC, The Lens Cap holder can be used with the Lens Loop using an adapter that we are working on. There are currently two options being tested. Once one is selected, they'll be made and sent out to backers.
@Matt and Dan, We're having issues with USPS shipping, particularly for international orders. Replacement straps were mailed two weeks ago to the people who said that they still hadn't gotten their orders.
Creator JC Wren on October 12, 2011
I can't remember if it was this project or the Lens Loop project, but one or the other of the guys mentioned a way to use the Cap Buckle on a Lens Loop. Someone have an idea of how this could work?
Strap works great. I've sold two friends on it already, and one of them got yet someone else interested.
Creator Ian Van Den Heuvel on October 11, 2011
I finally received my lensloop last Tuesday and have been out a couple of times with it. I'm really enjoying it so far.
Matthew 1234, I agree with you. Customer service needs more focus. I also never received any replies to the email I sent.
Dan, I had almost given up hope too. I was getting pretty frustrated. But, be patient and it will hopefully show up soon!
Creator Dan Ferrall on October 10, 2011
I am still waiting to receive my Lens Loop. I hope it will arrive soon. Seems like something went wrong somewhere.
Creator Matthew 1234 on October 10, 2011
Product arrived today. Good quality. I am still shitty about the lack of customer service.
Creator Matthew 1234 on October 9, 2011
I have still Jt received my goods yet? What's more disappointing is the shit service. I think it is clear from my emails to you Vadim that an email response was desired. Why have you just not bothered? Your update number 12 stated :
"If you have any questions regarding your order, please e-mail me directly at vadim@lensloop.com."
What is the point if you were never going to reply to the emails you received?
Still waiting. Almost ready to make a claim Vic pay pal to get my money back
Creator Matt Corkum on October 4, 2011
Just got my Lens Loop in the mail here in Nova Scotia, Canada. Incredible product. I can't believe how solid it all feels. Very smooth action as well. Might just have to dump the (really expensive) strap I use on my other body and get another Lens Loop!
Creator Carlos on October 3, 2011
Thank you for your idea Vadim, I received my LL in europe last friday, and i'm enjoying it now. I repeat, thanks
Creator colin mclellan on September 29, 2011
I backed the project on July 21st and received shipment today Sept 29th in Australia. Pleased to report it works upside down as required in the Southern Hemisphere.
Creator Ian Van Den Heuvel on September 29, 2011
Has anyone in Canada received their shipment yet? It's over 3 weeks since I got an email from AOA and still nothing.
Creator Chris DiMaso on September 28, 2011
I would reply to the email that AOA products sent you and let them know you haven't gotten your shipment. They are handling the shipping etc. I emailed them on Friday and by Monday had received my package.
Creator Matthew 1234 on September 28, 2011
I have not received my lens loop. I have emailed Vadim 3 times and have not received a response. Frustrated
Matt
Creator Chris DiMaso on September 27, 2011
Just recieved my lens loop! Overall I'm very happy with the build quality and comfort of the strap. The seat belt webbing makes for a very smooth action when raising and lowering the camera. Can't wait to get out in the field and put the loop through its paces!
Creator Craig Glaser on September 25, 2011
Finally got my lens loop today am loving it....
Reminds me of the days when i would have a M4 slinged over my shoulder ;-)
Creator Joe Russo on September 25, 2011
I am surprised at how comfortable the simple strap really is. I thought having a padded strap would be better, but was proven wrong. Thanks Vadim, I'm very happy with the lens loop.
Creator Earl Garcia Birch on September 24, 2011
hi, i got my LL today but unfortunately the strap is to short or i am too big ;)
so now i am waiting for a xl edition
Creator Vadim Gordin on September 18, 2011
@Todd. Glad you like it so far. Looking forward to hearing what you think!
@Natalie, Their are two things keeping the snap hook closed that in our testing have proven very secure in preventing accidental disconnects. (1) the spring holding the gate closed is very strong and (2) there is so much rotational freedom in the connection between the camera and the strap that getting the snap "pinched' in such a way that the gate opens is next to impossible.
Creator Natalie on September 17, 2011
Received mine a few days ago. Feels nice! Because I use a dedicated tripod plate on the bottom of my camera, I put the ring through one of the side strap connectors instead and hang the LL from that. I do have one concern, which is the metal hook -- how do we ensure that our cameras do not slip out from that hook? The BlackRapidStrap has a hook design that 'locks' the hook with a rotating piece, ensuring your camera can't come off the hook. On LL there is no such thing to protect that hook opening. I'm depending on your brass hook to not allow $6K worth of DSLR equipment to slide out of there. Comments on how others are positioning their LL hooks?
Creator Todd McCuen on September 16, 2011
Received mine this week and couldn't wait to put it on my new four thirds micro camera. Very happy with it.
Creator Vadim Gordin on September 15, 2011
@Everyone. Wow! Thanks for the comments.
@Michael, I size maximum of my LL to my 6'4" frame. That said, you aren't the only person who has reached out to me about an XL version. What I'd like to do once we take care of orders from the website and launch the new LensLoop.com is to do a production run of XL Lens Loops. I'll keep you informed.
@Tahla The clasps should fall upon your back.
Best regards,
Vadim

Like several other people, I got my LensLoop today. I haven't used the LensLoop yet for shooting, but some initial comments that occurred to me as I was trying out LensLoop on my Olympus E-3 and E-P2.
1) I am 5' 11" tall, and I probably would prefer to have a longer strap (for me just a few inches, but I could imagine wanting more length if I were much taller). Maybe in the future offer two sizes of strap.
2) I tend to like putting my gear down on flat surfaces, and I don't like having to angle the camera so that the lens is resting as one of the points. Using the provided screw means I can't put the camera flat on a table. I tried the right side where the normal strap connects, and it of course can interfere with shooting. I tried the left side, and it is better, but you need a little more movement when moving the camera to your eye.
3) Hanging the camera via the tripod socket is ok normally, but I don't like the flash hanging upside down, when I have a flash attached (given I've dropped and broke my flash twice when it was in my hands and not even on the camera, and had it come out of the hot-shoe other times where I caught it, I am somewhat gun shy about the flash in that position). What I'll likely do is connect a short strap and then connect the LensLoop strap to that.
4) I do like the wider belt that comes from the seat belts.
Creator Michael Stum on September 12, 2011
Got mine today! Very satisfied with it, it's nice to wear. I also have the Capture (another Kickstarter Project by someone else) and the screw fits perfectly into it's base. Thanks for this product!
Creator Talha on September 12, 2011
Got mine today! Loving it so far, but I have a quick question. What's the correct way to wear it? Like should the clasp rest along the strap closer to the end with the label, or on the other end, with the double "elongated ring" type hardware? Fantastic product Vadim!
Creator Jennifer on September 12, 2011
Got my Lens Loop today! It's a fantastic product. It's well-made, comfortable, easy to use and lightweight. This is one awesome product! Thank you!
Creator Jeremie Lariviere on September 12, 2011
My LensLoop was just delivered, thanks!
Creator Andrew Tang on September 12, 2011
Thanks Vadim!
The long awaited LensLoop was delivered to me last Friday. Once i swapped the straps i knew instantly i would enjoy using it, so having all weekend to test it out, my first instinct was correct. My problem with the Canon strap is that it always got in the way, the rubber adhesive backing would get caught on my shirt, i would have to re-adjust, it was just a hassle. BUT with the LL it's a breeze to bring your camera up and start snapping. It's well made and transparent, that's how all camera equipment should be, it doesn't get in the way of you taking the shot!

I received my Lens Loop today, and I am very pleased. The strap is softer and more comfortable than I expected; the craftsmanship is excellent, the idea is fantastic; I'm so tired of having my camera hanging around my neck, and this was just the solution I needed! Impressive in every way.

Anybody who has received their strap care to leave some feedback?
Creator Vadim Gordin on September 7, 2011
@Julius. AOA products is the company handling fulfillment.
@Bob. Lens Loops have been shipping out from Ohio since the beginning of last week. If you haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail from AOA Products yet, you should have one within the next few days.
Creator Julius on September 7, 2011
are you AOA Products, LLC?
Creator Robert Weiniger on September 2, 2011
Vadim,
It doesn't look like you're going to make that 'week of Aug 29' target anymore. Could you give us a revised shipping schedule?
Thanks, and best regards...

Creator Robert Weiniger on August 31, 2011
Vadim,
If the brass hardware is an 'antiqued finish' on steel that could wear off over time, I'd prefer to stay with the nickel on steel as originally ordered. If it's solid brass, then I would prefer it over the shiny nickle plating.
Thanks, Bob W.
Bob
Creator Robert Weiniger on August 31, 2011
Vadim,
By any chance, would it be practical to ship my strap with the brass hardware rather than the nickel plated steel? I realized it would look MUCH better with black Nikon body with 'gold trimmed' lenses and dark PVD plated mounting screw. Please accommodate me if you can.
Thanks,
Bob Weiniger
Creator Robert Weiniger on August 31, 2011
Vadim,
Thanks for the quick reply! Looking forward to that 'your order shipped' email!
Best regards,

Creator Vadim Gordin on August 31, 2011
Bob,
This week is still a go, with the first straps going out today. Straps will be going out in the order that the pledges were received. You will be getting confirmation e-mails when you strap ships.

Hi, Vadim,
I know you must be very busy at this stage in the project, but I can't wait to see my LensLoop!
How is this week (8/29) looking for shipping? Will we receive shipment notifications?...tracking numbers?
Best regards
Bob Weiniger
Creator Craig Glaser on August 22, 2011
Any news on an expected shipping date yet?
Creator Talha on August 12, 2011
Can Eager Beaver Backers tell us how the Lens Loop has been working out with their gear so far? I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys who've got the thing in your hands. Thanks.
Creator Todd McCuen on August 11, 2011
Looking forward to the Lens Loop. Question: will the screw fit pretty tightly and not come loose?
Creator Vadim Gordin on August 9, 2011
@Richard, could you please PM me through Kickstarter?
Creator Vadim Gordin on August 9, 2011
@Kore. Everything will be shipping together.
@Ken. I can't speak for the 'Sling Screw' project, but I can say that the Lens Loop is indeed very real and will be coming to you shortly.
