WALKING up east coast. Interviewing people to create an online blog that captures the people you miss from the interstate.
- Months before the project officially begins, I will film and put online (both on Youtube and on a Google+ account created specifically for this purpose) the steps taken to prepare for this project. This includes deciding on the equipment, speaking with professional hikers, choosing destinations, and so forth.
- On January first, I will head north from Orlando, Florida. I will document every step of the way. I will conduct short interviews with the people I meet, and I will attend the rare events about which most tourists never hear. I will create at the end of each day both a written and a video blog, both of which I will broadcast on my Youtube and Google+ account.
- Bangor, Maine will be the official "turnaround" point, but the road back down to Orlando will not match the road that came before it. This time, I will follow a route that heads further westward, allowing me to film new locations and people.
