About this project
I set out in October 2010 to make a few EPs. The original plan was to release the first EP later that Fall, with another EP or two to follow in the Winter and Spring. Long story short, 2 EPs turned into 3 EPs, which eventually turned into 4 EPs!! I began recording last fall and into the winter with Kieran Kelly at The Buddy Project in Astoria, NY. Then, this past spring, I drove down to Nashville to do some more recording with John Mark Painter at IHOF Studio (JMP produced my latest record - The Room Is Spinning Faster).
A total of 17 songs were recorded, which were then separated into groups based on mood/feel. There's a really dark and mellow EP, a more playful piano rock EP, an energetic indie rock EP, and a folksy acoustic EP. I have only come up with titles for two of the EPs at this point, so in the meantime they are being referred to based on the season in which they will be released in 2012 (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall).
I am about getting close to completing the project. However, at this time, $4,000 is needed to complete the recording, mixing, and mastering processes. Any additional money raised will help me properly promote the new EPs, so that the recording process is not in vain.
For those unfamiliar with Kickstarter, it is an amazing platform for artists to join with music lovers in raising money to fund their projects. HOWEVER, the artist only receives the money if the entire goal amount is raised. Otherwise, the money goes back to the supporters, and the project remains unfinished. That said, I am super excited to be joining with all of you in seeing this project through to completion!! I hope that you enjoy the rewards set up for the pledge amounts. It should be good fun for everyone involved!

Hi. My name's Adam. I write songs. Often, I like to make recordings of these songs. And sometimes I play these songs for other people. I have played songs for people all over the world - from NYC to Dublin to Tokyo. Mostly, I play piano. But sometimes, I play guitar.
