A young man goes to meet his girlfriend’s family for the first time, only to find that they have more in mind than dinner. “The Hunters” explores the dark side of family and relationships and the things that they can drive a person to do. The story examines how scars can pass from generation to generation.

Influenced by Japanese horror such as Ju-On and Ringu, classic slasher films such as Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and visually influenced by David Cronenberg's latest films, "The Hunters" is a wild ride with strong themes and subtext.

We have been lucky enough to put together a cast and crew with some of the most talented people at Watkins College of Art Design and Film, all of whom have generously contributed their time and skills.

We also will have music in the film from Grammy award winning songwriter Kim Carnes and other local Nashville musicians.

Your contribution would help us get the makeup and costumes we need to make this film, as well as production design, lights, and good food and drinks for everyone involved.
