THE STORY 

Rosilind, a lost girl in her twenties, discovers that she is pregnant.  Instead of making a hard decision she fixates on a young mother and child who shop at her grocery store.  One day she follows them home and impulsively, when the opportunity presents itself, she takes the child.  What follows is a life lesson Rosilind will never forget.  

THE WHY 

For lack of a better metaphor, Rosilind's story has been growing inside me for the past two years and it's finally time to PUSH. 

My growing desire (desperation) to make a name for myself as a filmmaker coupled with my frustration with current political debates concerning women have really put this project at the forefront of my thoughts. So much so, that... here we are, asking for money. 

Also, I dream of further establishing Tucson as a place where filmmakers can work and thrive, so that I don't have to live in Los Angeles for the rest of my life.

THE WHO

University of Arizona BFA Alums who have naively moved to Los Angeles to chase their dreams only to return to Tucson to make them come true.

THE MONEY 

We are asking for $3,000 because:

• Rentals (lenses, lights, camera rig, incidentals) - $800
• Gas (from LA to Tucson: location scout, rehearsals, & shoot) - $600
• Food (food) - $200                                                            
• Production Design (props, set design, etc) - $300                            
• Hair & Makeup & Costumes (...) - $200                                          
• Film Festivals (DVD copies, entry fee, shipping) - $600              
• Insurance (things that aren't going to happen but just in case) - $200  
• Odds & Ends - $100
