Help us fund our web series CELEBRITIES TO GO!

CELEBRITIES TO GO! is a 10-episode comedy web series (Episodes about 5 minutes each) about the world of Celebrity Impersonators.  It is written, produced and stars Rob Gorden, actor/writer/comedian and Erika Smith, actress and Marilyn Monroe impersonator.  It features some of the top lookalikes and impersonators in the biz.  At the heart of the show is Bobby G, the embattled booking agent who just can't say no, and his star talent Holly Sands, a successful Marilyn impersonator who dreams of being recognized as an actress in her own right, not just playing someone famous.  

Here's the show's synopsis:

"Bobby G is the owner of Celebrities To Go, the best impersonator agency... in the Tri-State area. There is only one problem, his impersonators are driving him crazy. They're fighting over Barmitzvah bookings, squabbling over who headlines, clashing over who's the biggest diva... their egos are through the roof! They might as well be the celebrities they impersonate!  In fact, that's the very problem he's having with his star performer, Holly Sands..."

All 10 episodes are written, all the roles are cast, the actors, crew, production team and locations are ready to go.  We started shooting Jan 15, and it's going great so far.  We know we have something special!

We plan to shoot and edit all 10 episodes over a period of 8-10 weeks, then release one episode per week online.  We also have a marketing team who will help promote the show's premiere, and the release of each of the 10 episodes.  We hope that the show will build up enough of an online audience to get funding through Youtube's new original content production fund for a second season.  Or better yet, it will be picked up by a television or cable network.

All of our talented performers, our production team, and our crew have offered their time and talents for free!  That's how much they believe in our show and its success.  We still need money, however, to cover production costs, pay for shooting locations and to feed our performers and crew.  Please help us fund this project so we can finish the shoot!
