WHAT DO WE WANT TO DO?
The first stage of this project (research, writing, illustrating) is complete and we want to take our book to the presses!
HOW DO WE PLAN TO DO IT?
We're in touch with a great printer! However, the way it works is...the more books you buy, the cost of each individual book goes down. The final cost we are looking at is over $6500! So why don't we split the cost down the middle? :-)
WHAT IS THE MONEY FOR?
The money raised is to help offset the initial cost of the printing of the books. We're not big enough to seek out an Angel Fund and I'm not interested in seeking a loan. So, maybe YOU, the kickstarter backer, can be our ANGEL! As I said before, we are looking to raise just 1/2 the amount of the cost and we will put up the rest. If we reach our goal, we still have a long wish list of things to do....like making the book into an ePUB format, buying equipment, such as a Flip Camera to upload videos to our website and finding creative ways to advertise. That would be the third phase of this project.
