About this project

BECOME A PART OF THE COMMUNAL COVER ART FOR TAKE CARE'S UPCOMING ALBUM and help it come to life! Watch the video to see how everyone will be incorporated into the cover.

Take Care has been preparing the songs for their upcoming album for over a year and a half. They are more excited about this new material than they have been for anything else. This summer, they are ready to head into the studio and bring the album to life.

Buzz around the album started with the three song demo the band put out in the fall of 2010, and continued with their headlining shows at Harper's Ferry and the Middle East in Boston. The 2010 demo was named one of the "Best New Releases" by Indierockcafe.com, a very well respected independent music blog, which yielded thousands of plays and downloads from their website. The demo versions of these tracks can be heard below:

Trips (Coming Back): http://takecareband.com/demo2010/trips.mp3

All the hard work, writing, arranging, and planning is nearing completion, and because of all the time that the band has put into these songs, they want to make sure the recording process is done right. In order to be able to do this, they need your help.

Professional recording is extremely expensive, involving costs for studio time to track the album, studio time to mix the album, a sound engineer to run everything during all that time, mastering the album, printing it, and promoting it. Your pledges will be going directly to the costs just listed, and nowhere else.

Please be sure to check out the sweet rewards on the right of this page, which you can receive with your pledge.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone who pledges! We are so thankful for your support, and so happy that you will be a part of our upcoming album. Be well, and we cannot wait to share this album with you!

All the best and then some,

-Take Care

Take Care

Has not connected their Facebook account.

Take Care formed in the suburbs of Boston, MA at the start of 2009, when brothers Kyle Joseph and Dan Joseph (DJ) began writing music with friends Dan Phelan and Sean St. Germain. The band recorded and mixed their first album, Awakenasleep, only months later and over the course of only four days in the summer of 2009. After two years of growth since Awakenasleep, the band is wrapping up writing and arranging their second album, and they hope to create a communal album experience with their Kickstarter campaign in order to fund the recording process this coming summer.
