Sleep-over in the village!
Hey all.
So we spent a couple of days in the village catching up with a few bracelet makers and interviewing a few of the villagers. It seemed like the whole village welcomed us to stay, including the chief.
We spent the night at the very hospitable household of Miss Bouacam, a general all-round saint. After a long hard day in the rice fields she came straight home to the kitchen to prepare us, and a few other village strays, an amazing feast. After a few Laos beers and Laos-Laos whiskey, she then went onto to prepare blankets and pillows for all of us to bed down for the night. What a star!
Miss Bouacam is just one of the many amazingly humble Laos people this great project is helping.
