Sacrificial Youth is about a teenage suburban Punk, his band, the Scene, shitty Pop Punk, energy drinks, and evil Corporate forces.
TJ is a teenage punk with an attitude living in a suburban home. His dad sucks, he hates his school, and society rots. But he has his band, his skateboard and most importantly, The Scene. Everything falls apart when a multi-death corporation infiltrates The Scene and one by one, he is betrayed by his friends as the Sell Out begins. The only one to stand with him is Maggie. TJ knows it's fight Or die as he prepares for battle but when the final conflict happens,can he rise above being a minor threat and fight back? Will The Scene be united & strong? Or will he end up as a teenager in a box?
Sacrificial Youth is the second feature by director Joe Losurdo (You Weren't There- A History Of Chicago Punk 1977-84). The film is 90% shot and edited, with the remaining shooting to be completed by July 2011. The funds raised will be used for production costs, studio time, and post-production work.
