A beautiful piece about a soldiers mental struggle with returning home to his family after a lengthy tour in Afghanistan.

Silver Forest Films presents "A Place of Honor" a film written and directed by Michael E. Brown and Conrad De La Torres III. The film follows a soldier's homecoming after a lengthy tour in Afghanistan and illuminates the struggle and sacrifice that many soldiers and their families endure during times of war and conflict. This movie is not yet completed and we need your help raise funds towards it's completion.  If you like the trailer please like it, share it, and and help contribute in any way possible. Both Conrad De La Torres and Michael E. Brown served in the military so this story is near and dear to us. We personally have already contributed $7500.00 toward the project in locations fees, wardrobe, cast, crew expenses and the production of the trailer. We believe in this project and back it with every ounce of pride we have. The more money we raise, the better we can do at bringing to attention the very real and sad truth about the re-integration difficulties many of our service men and women coming home face.   • What if we don't want to make an Amazon account/ Pay with a credit card etc?

    Although we would prefer all donations to come through KickStarter (since if we don't make our goal in the amount of time given we lose everything), we have been made aware that many of you are having trouble, or just don't want to make Amazon/KickStarter accounts.   • Why can't we just donate at the premiere?

    There may never be a premiere if we do not raise the funds to complete the movie.

  • When and where is the Film premiere?

    The date of the premiere is tentative but we are hoping for sometime in September. The films premiere will most likley be held at an popular club (name coming soon) in YBOR city Tampa. It will be a red carpet event, with great music, drinks (for those of age), and great way to spend an evening out.
