The Loomi Kickstarter project has come to an end, and the support we  received here was incredible. But wait, the story is not over! We've turned the lights on at LoomiLight.com -- where you can find ideas, updates, and  purchase a Loomi of your own. We hope to see you there!

What is Loomi?

Loomi is a modular, makeable, paintable, recyclable light that looks beautiful just about anywhere. Loomi is made up of interlinking quadrilaterals that easily connect to create wonderful lights of all shapes and sizes. 

An expired Danish patent from the '70's inspired us to create Loomi, but instead of the original plastic design, we're creating Loomi from high-quality paper (SBS card stock) that can be painted and drawn to create illuminated works of art. Dye it, paint it, glue it, dunk it, just remember ...  Loomi looks spectacular in the original white.

The basic globe shape is made of 30 pieces, but we give you 3 extra just in case. The 33 piece kit makes over a dozen different shapes and you can combine kits to create even bigger Loomi lights! Simple assembly instructions will be included.

A couple things to keep in mind ...

This funding will pay for the tooling, material and packaging. We recommend you purchase an inexpensive cord kit from Amazon or Ikea, and use a LED or compact fluorescent bulb. The lamp cords we're providing have U.S. plugs, but can work with an adapter for your country.
