I want to thank you again for supporting me last year with the Unique Dice Towers project. It has been quite a trip! We are still running strong and enjoying every minute of it!

You may of seen the project for the WWII towers. To help meet goal I have added a dragon cut design to choose from for $30. There is only 8 days left! If you know of anyone that would like it, please send them our way!

Sandra and I are excited to announce that all Kickstarter pledges have been fulfilled! I hope everyone has received something they enjoy.  This has been a great experience for us.

I have a few more ideas in mind for the future but it is nice to have some down time… I am in a collaboration phase though. So if you have any special requests, it will be fun to get creative on them. Email us at info@uniquedicetowers.com!

We are making great progress on the December builds… all the dice towers have been cut! But don’t get too excited, we still need to assemble and engrave.

So early on, my strategy was to do everything the long and drawn out way (I made this decision on purpose). I wanted to see what was working and what was painful. Turns out there wasn't much painful stuff, just inefficient ways of doing things. I also tried just about every laser cutting strategy I could think of to find the best one...

• Should I save money, use random wood width?
• Should I save time by spending more on standard wood widths?
• Should I fully load the laser cutter bed and do a big jobs?
• Should I just do light loads that require babysitting?

Sometimes trying to save a dollar costs a lot of time... and the old adage 'Time is Money' holds up!

I can be pretty hard on myself, but to get around that I have developed two mottos I have to remind myself of continuously:

• It is ok to make mistakes. Just don't make the same mistake twice!
• We learn when we make mistakes. (If everything goes as planned, I didn’t learn anything and I am no better off!)

I have never mentioned that I completely mis-anticipated the interest in hardwood towers! Thanks again for your support…  I have learned so much.

Now that things are slowing down, I am working on new artwork for Unique Dice Towers. I would also love to get your feedback regarding:

Options you wish you had that I didn’t offer this round.

• Exotic hardwoods
• Art
• Engraving
• Other?

Has as anyone played games with >=8d6?

• How did you dice tower hold up?
•  Would you like to see a wider design?

Anything else? Believe it or not, I still think this is fun!

Don’t forget the webstore at www.uniquedicetowers.com. Still not much inventory since I am still fulfilling Kickstarter but I did find a new material: MDF/Walnut/Plywood combo!. Pretty crazy. I had some down time while waiting for a wood shipment so I cut a few!

And since I can’t sit still I am already thinking of another Kickstarter… Maybe we can do a premium hardwood tower. As a group we can keep cost down (and I need a water chiller!).

Wow... I can't believe we are done with September fufillments! The last email has been sent, towers are boxed and will be in the mail tomorrow.

What a crazy ride this has been. Over 425 dice towers have been cut, assembled and shipped.

Thanks to everyone that supported! The wood order for December shipments will be in next week and we will start on those but is nice to have some breathing room. :)

There have been a few mistakes on orders and we have tried to have prompt responses. Please let us know if we missed anything.

We will be shipping December shipments as fast as we can make them but there will be a bit of down time first! :)
