A chef owned and operated neighborhood bakery serving sweets and savories to satisfy every craving made in house daily.

Hi! We’re TJ and Vera Obias of Du Jour Bakery. We are a husband and wife team that have been looking for a space for our bakery in Brooklyn for about 2 years. We both fell in love with Park Slope and knew that this was the neighborhood we wanted our family friendly bakery.

We are both pastry chefs that love French classics and American comfort food. Our bakery/cafe will be offering great coffee, baked goods, specialty cakes, brunch, lunch and eventually dinner. We are so excited to offer this neighborhood a place that is more than just a bakery. We’re here to fill you with great food and drinks and unforgettable memories.

The money raised from our project will go directly towards our opening inventory. We have spent the last 5 months planning, building, sanding, painting, and working day and night to open the bakery of our dreams.

We are truly grateful for each and every backer that supports us, and we think we've designed some really awesome rewards for you to show you our appreciation.
