290 dollars to go. I think we can do this!!
I just got home from the park. I've spent the vast majority of the last three days there and am really feeling I need to revamp my repertoire. Next weekend I promise, at the very least, an hour of completely new music. Because I've spent so much time working on the monster classical pieces, I've been adding new rep at an extremely slow pace. But there are plenty of great pieces out there that only take five minutes to learn. Unfortunately, I just really wanted to learn some of the intense stuff and it was hard to take my focus away.
At any rate, So many people have come through for this project. It's looking like it may very well happen!! Keep spreading the word if you haven't already.
Here's a video from today. Pretty fun with all the Swing dancers. Although I have to admit. I think I enjoy dancing more than playing. hah...
And tomorrow as I said, I will take time to thank all the new backers. I just didn't have a free moment at all this weekend because of work.
All the best!!

Pledge $50 or more
You will have a song sung to you at one of our shows. I know it doesn't seem like much, but I promise to make it extra special and not too embarrassing.
Pledge $100 or more
You may have a ride on the piano around the NYC WSP fountain. If you weigh more than 180 lbs, you can volunteer someone who you'd like to see take the ride. I may even provide a Tiara.
Pledge $250 or more
You may sign the bottom of the piano. Not to worry. This is a common practice. Pianos of both Van Cliburn and Vladimir Horowitz were covered with signatures of movers and technicians.
Pledge $500 or more
You will receive a personalized gift. I will think very carefully about your personality and what would serve best as gift for you. It may be material or it may be something entirely different. Either way, I assure you it will be wholly worth this pledge amount and leave you with goose bumps for weeks to come.
