Be apart of AOI's second annual Kiba Bass Rave. A band of college students who formed a club and need your help to share their world!
College Kids who just want to be themselves!
Our purpose is to share, enhance, and expand student awareness and knowledge of the cultural and social aspect of Anime. We focus on understanding the community that has surrounded Anime, to know more about the nations/communities that they are derived of. In doing all these things, our goal is to create a place where a person can have an educational and fun way to celebrating their interests with others.
Anime Otaku Incorporated is one of the youngest organizations in University of West Georgia's club rosters. Because we're not funded by anyone, our great ideas for campus wide events never reach their full potential. A.O.I. strives to unite the campus community and befriend all organizations on campus, but need money to do so. Therefore, our goal for our upcoming rave is to have enough money expand awareness of our club, and bring the University of West Georgia community together.
College kids who just want to dance!
The Kiba Bass Rave is how we first introduced ourselves to our campus. We were the first organization to hold a rave and had over 300 people come out and dance! Now that word has spread about our club, we are confident that we can acquire a larger turnout with a little push from supporters like you!
College kids who are just broke!
“There's Broke, and then there's college broke”. Our members sacrificed between buying food or buying black lights, between getting printer's ink or table clothes, and even between their laptop repaired or buying water jugs to hydrate people. Iman Hinton, the founder and President confided, "As their president, I could not bear to have people willingly go without to create a moment in time where people can smile."
And so, A.O.I. has turned to you for help in reaching our goal to enhance the Kiba Bass experience!!
College kids who have a plan, a list, and the ideas to succeed!
Posters, flyers, Radio announcements, Chalk, Inviting organization leaders by email, cosplay info table, did we mention a Flash mob?! Yes, A.O.I pulls out all the stops when it comes to advertising.
All of our events are planned and booked months in advance. We have our location, located on the University of West Georgia campus (the warehouse gymnasium). Georgia's own, DM Ashura, who has his own professional equipment, will be rock'in on the ones and twos as the headliner D.J. Furthermore, we are open for anyone to audition to D.J., because A.O.I. prides ourselves in giving people who are driven and have potential their chance to shine.
What we have so far:
West Georgia will provide us with a fully functional space for free, but we're on our own for everything else. We have a member of the West Georgia's Dance club who agreed to choreograph our flash mobs. A.O.I.'s Art Director is making our posters, UV art, and our prizes for supporters who pledge. We also have a huge amount of free monsters to give away as well. As mentioned above, we have two very capable DJ's who will spin in exchange for love and exposure. A section of the club, known as the Panda Squad Security, know the lay out and will guard all exits and entrances, and other security details including a no alcohol or drugs rave.
What we'll need :
Last year, we had a refreshment station. That station, had a person manning it. The reason being? We could not afford to buy individual bottled water, so gallons of water and paper cups were used instead. To get to the point, the following list will guarantee that our rave will go smoothly and safely with vibrant energy. This list was compiled with creativity and cost effectiveness in mind. We aim to accommodate everyone: from Poi ravers and break dancer, to the fist pumpers and first timers.
