The beginning in the end
Hooray! This project is done on Kickstarter, thanks to more than 300(!) generous people. Some of you are friends and some of you are strangers; all of you are why I write at all, and there's no more I can even say than thank you. Now it's beginning to be real!
Some numbers and some details:
302 people pledged a total of $4,685.10 to make this little book happen. 382 copies of No Experiences will be shipped as backer rewards when I receive them. In just a few hours, I am going to walk from XOXO over to Scout Books' office and pay them to print 750 copies of it.
A note on the final text:
My friend Stephen (Twitter's inimicable @dry_hugs) wrote a little foreword for the book, an appreciation of Horse_ for its oracular greatness. I'm pretty certain Stephen was the first to introduce me to Horse_ebooks, so it feels like a circle happily closed to have him involved.
Thank you, again. If you see me here in Portland this weekend, or back home in Chicago, or anywhere else we both might wind up, let's shake hands.

I can't wait to hold the book and read the poems within, as well as the foreword. :)
