About this project
Super fat and colorful, OOQI grips™ are designed to reduce hand numbness, hand cramping and carpel tunnel and INCREASE riding bliss.
We've developed a unique thermoplastic rubber compound called OOQIUM that has the just-right characteristics of softness, tack and grip. We also threw in features like UV protection to keep the colors popping for the long haul.
OOQI grips will be launching with 4-6 colors. When you pledge, be sure to let us know what color you want. We will be closely tracking color requests and manufacturing those with the highest support.
Our Goal
We're looking to manufacture OOQI grips using a process called injection moulding where upstart tooling can be quite costly. The $12K we're seeking will cover a big, jupiter-sized chunk of that.
Pledge Rewards

- By pledging $17 you're essentially pre-ordering a set of OOQI grips in the colour of your choice along with the neat sticker pack.
- Pledging higher amounts bumps you up into bigger/better rewards giving you more bang for the buck.
Pledge Rewards up for Grabs:
- The highest pledge reward is for the OOQI grips-inspired fixed-gear bike. These bikes are going to be built (custom paint job included) using brand new parts that sing. These OOQI bikes will be perfect in every way. After pledging at this amount please send us the size of the frame you'd like. If you don't know what frame size you ride, please send us your height, arm length and leg length and we'll figure it out.
- Shipping is Free inside North America (Canada, US, Mexico) with indicated shipping fees for intercontinental orders. Please see each pledge amount for specifications.

Like most answers to tough questions....it depends!
If you pledged only for stickers, expect to get those within 2 weeks of the projects closing.
If you pledged for grips, you can expect your grips to come to you in mid July giving you plenty of time to cruise around this summer with your new, pimped out handlebars.
If you pledged on a bike, holy crap this is gonna be so much fun THANK YOU! We get to do my favorite thing in the world and that's build bikes. You also can expect to receive your pledge reward in mid July, replete with your OOQI grips, t-shirt, stickers and M?stery Gift.
